We are now living in a day and age were there is so much worry. As the credit crunch is effecting each of us we are worrying; about our savings, employment and for some the fear of losing their homes has become a possibility.

I do get concerned when, the church, has been guilty of claiming, once you come to Christ, some how, you are immune from the troubles others face. That is not a promise you willl ever find in scripture. In fact we see the opposite. "In this world you will have trouble, however, take heart I have overcome the world." (John 16:33)

Troubles are a fact of life, but it is how we deal with them that makes the difference. We can either let them harden our hearts or we can allow God to use them so we can become more like Him.
