Christmas Fair

Saturday December 6th the church was turned into a Winter Wonderland. All the children enjoyed their visit to Santa's worshop seeing all the elfs busy at work making toys for Christmas. Then they saw Santa and miss Claus to get their presents and give him their letters. Thanks to all those who worked so hard and for those who came to support us.

Car Wash

On Saturday September 13 a group from the church washed cars and served strawberry teas at the church. They raised just under £100 to go towards new flooring for the church entrance. Everyone enjoy the day (getting soaked)!! Thanks to all those who came to help and support us.

Summer 2008

We had a very busy but fun start to the summer.

It started off with another Youth in Mission team from the USA. This year the team was made up from Larrissa Swearengin (MNU), Karen Flowers and Hanna Dedmon (SNU). The team made such a difference on the lives of the children they ministered too.

We had our annual Fun Day on June 28th, and yes the rain stayed off. Click here to view some of the fun things that happened. The community enjoyed a fun day with bouncy castles, stalls and loads of other activities. This year we wanted to make our fun day more evangelical so we had an outdoor concert, thanks to the Port of Tyne who parked a trailer on the gounds of the church, for a stage. The church worship group started of the concert and the worship group from Parkhead Church of the Nazarene where the headlining act. Our prayer is that the words of the songs will plant a seed in the hearts of all those who heard and the seed will grow that they too will have a desire to come to know Christ.

The month of July ended on a high. On July 13th we brought in 8 new members into the church, for which we praise God. Also during the Sunday evening service we held an outdoor Baptismal Service. Eighteen people, including many of the teens, went through the waters as a witness and testimony to their faith in Christ. It was a wonderful evening of celebtration and worship.

Planning Permission

We do praise the Lord that we have been granted planning permission to build our new ministry centre. Please continue to pray for us that we will be able to raise the £0.5 million.
